Russian and Buckwheat Dumplings


Dough
Ingredients:
· Flour
· Warm water
· Olive
· Salt
Combine flour with some warm water, olive and salt. Try to knead plain and elastic dough. Add more flour if it’s too sticky or more water if too hard. Form it into ball and leave for 30 minutes in a plastic bag to rest. Thanks to that it become more elastic, soft and shine. After that time sprinkle your surface with some flour to prevent the dough from sticking. Pin it out using a roller. Using a glass cut a round shaped pieces. Stuff it with your favorite filling and using your fingers stick the edges.
The dumpling cook in a bowling water for about 5 minutes.
Serve it a splash of sour cream or crème fraiche and golden onions. Bon appétit!


Cottage cheese filling

Ingredients:
· Cottage cheese
· Potatoes
· Onion
· Olive
· Black pepper
· Salt
Peel and cook potatoes. Squeeze them thoroughly and combine with cottage cheese. The amount of potatoes and cheese should be even. Golden onions on olive and add into the mixture. Add some salt and black pepper. Mix it all into a one filling.

Buckwheat filling

Ingredients:
· Buckwheat
· Potatoes
· Onion
· Black pepper
· Salt
Exactly as above. The only difference is a buckwheat which should be cooked.



Przepis zamieściłem w języku angielskim ponieważ my go dobrze znamy, a chciałem aby również zagraniczni gości mogli się cieszyć naszymi ukochanymi pierożkami!

OGŁASZAM ALARM!!!

Z przykrością stwierdzam, że w kraju, który słynie z pierogów, jest oferowana taka restauracyjno-barowa tandeta. Ohydne nadzienie, grube i rozciapane ciasto nawet w lokalach, które w swojej nazwie szczycą się pierogami. Dziwny jest ten kraj bo zamiast pysznymi pierożkami, faszerowani jesteśmy kebabami i sushi. Szkoda mi tych turystów, którym oferuje się tak marną namiastkę naszych rodzimych pyszności. Dlatego ja kultywuję tradycję i wałkuję sam…

  3. a czy nieznajomi też mają jakąś szansę na taki wspaniały poczęstunek? :) Ja też nie lubię "pierogarniowych" pierogów! :)
